Who we work with

Helping the advisers on industrial schemes

Architects

You are often first to know that a client needs cover. We work from your drawings and specifications and handle the provider's technical questions with you, not around you.

Structural and civil engineers

Your calculations and ground design are central to the provider's review. We make sure the right information reaches the right people.

Employer's agents and project managers

We help line up the provider's inspections with the programme, so a missed stage does not hold up the frame, the roof or the slab.

Quantity surveyors and cost consultants

A reliable rebuild cost is the starting point for the price. We can give an early indication for the cost plan.

Commercial agents

A unit with latent defects cover in place can be easier to sell or let. Refer the developer early and the cover can be ready for the first deal.

Funders, monitoring surveyors and solicitors

If your client's funding or lease needs latent defects insurance, we can help the developer work on it early, so it is less likely to hold up the deal.

How referrals work

Simple for you, looked after for your client

  1. Send us your client's details with the form below, or ask them to contact us and mention you.
  2. We speak to your client, gather the scheme details and approach underwriters with an appetite for industrial buildings.
  3. With your client's permission, we keep you updated as cover is arranged and as inspections take place.

Please make sure your client is happy for you to pass their details to us before you send them.

When to bring us in

The earlier the better. Latent defects insurance is simplest to arrange before work starts on site, when the provider can review the design and inspect the ground works and slab as they go in. If it becomes a condition of a funding agreement or an agreement for lease late in the day, tell us straight away - the sooner a provider sees the scheme, the more options there are.

If a building is already under way or complete, see our sister brand Retrospective Warranties, or refer the client to us and we will point them in the right direction.

Refer a client

Give us your client's details and a little about the scheme. We will take it from there and keep you informed, with your client's permission.

  • Takes under a minute
  • We contact your client, usually the same working day
  • With their permission, we keep you up to date
  • Free and no obligation for your client
